When it comes to the flu, three essential oils are needed: Eucalyptus radiata, Ravensara aromatica (not Ravintsare) and Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis).

They are administered by massaging on the chest, upper back and stomach, with the following dilution (for children, simply double the dose of the base oil):

In 1 teaspoon of base oil (like sweet almond)

2 drops of Eucalyptus radiata

2 drops of Hemlock

1 drops of Ravensara aromatica

These are chosen for their antiviral, immune-stimulatory and corrective actions.

 

Massage the chest, stomach and back twice a day.

In case of otitis, add a drop of Eucalyptus radiata on a cotton bud and place it in the ear, a few minutes, two to three times a day until relief.

(For babies, it is best to use Neroli essential oil to treat ear infections.)

For a clogged nose, evaporate in an essential oil burner eucalyptus globulus oil, and place in the patient’s room.

To relieve a sore throat, apply one to two drops of spike lavender essential oil without dilution, directly on the throat, three times a day, for both adults and babies.

 

But we can also massage the throat with this mixture:

In 1 teaspoon of base oil:

1 drop of Thymus vulgaris (Thyme)

1 drop of Mentha piperita (Peppermint)

3 drops of tea tree

 

In case of coughing, you can reduce the production of mucus with Atlas Cedar, diluted with a base oil and then massaged on the chest.

It can be associated with Thymus vulgaris and Hyssop officinal var. decumbens, and if it is spasmodic, with Artemisia dracunculus (tarragon) as well.

For children up to 4 years of age, Hyssop decumbens can be mixed with lavender aspic to relieve symptoms of bronchitis.

And again, resist the urge to give them aspirin, you would be preventing their immune system from strengthening.

If you like baths and are suffering from fever-associated cramps, use a bubble bath soap as a diluting agent, and add a few drops of thyme, rosemary or lavender essential oil before pouring into the already poured bath – not too hot please.

Finally, as soon as you get the upper hand, find your tonicity (energy) faster by rubbing your adrenal (in the back near the waist) with a drop of black spruce essential oil.
